Commercial & Residential
Land Development Lot Clearing -
We participate in the planning
of landscape and building construction by identifying feature trees,
site mapping, and methods of protection. All of this is done while
keeping the construction schedule focused and on time. We have a
long list of contractors you can call for references.
Emerald Ash Borer Control Contractors –
We
are in ongoing communication with Michigan’s Department of
Natural Resources to cooperate in the control of this devastating
woodlands pest.
Tree, Stump, and Brush Clearing –
A standard
project includes bringing the tree down, recycling the brush and
limbs into landscape chips, cutting the wood into firewood lengths or lumber logs,
and cutting stumps as close to flush with the ground as possible.
Additional services include stump grinding to a depth of 4 –20” below
ground level.
Storm Damage Prevention and Clean-up –
Michigan
weather can be very unpredictable and the season’s storms can
weaken and break limbs and trees. We can help you identify potential
tree problems and perform storm damage preventative work.
When storm
damage has occurred, no one can clean up your land and fallen trees & limbs
faster than Handley’s. Everything we remove from your land
gets recycled !
Wood Waste Grinding & Shredding –
Our
400 H.P., diesel powered Vermeer “Tub Grinder” grinds
and shreds stumps, limbs, bark, small logs & brush. And after
Christmas, Handley’s is the drop-off point for the local residents’,
of Kalamazoo and Oshtemo Township, Christmas trees for recycling
!
Specialized Mowing –
Handley’s stable
of commercial tree management equipment includes a mowing unit that
can clear
1 – 200 acres of overgrown farms and vacant lots of small trees, bushes, shrubs & nuisance
growth about as fast as you can mow your back yard !! Handley’s
also contracts with the State of Michigan and other contractors who
keep our roadways safe by controlling over-growth of vegetation and
unwanted arbor.
